Weird, I read a Psalm, too.
This has been going on way too much today. We’re freakishly similar. Too similar… HMMM.
Anyways. Yes, I read a Psalm tonight. It was Psalm 139. YUM! (: I am in such a musical mood (Meg&Dia’s full album is finally streaming on MySpace! I want it. Now. I am getting much too excited about it. It comes out on Tuesday. YAY.), and Psalms are essentially— songs. So I don’t know, it just all fit together, I suppose. :)
This psalm is so refreshing, & especially nostalgic. This was the first speech I made (ever!) & won a “Superior” for it in… 3rd(?) grade. (Superior’s CLEAAARLY the highest. Hehe.) I practiced the whole psalm over & over again; rereading it tonight reminded me of how blessed I am to have grown up with His word.
Who knows us better than the Father? Our Creator? Who is there to fear knowing that our GOD is right there with us? Every. Step. Of the way. “If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast” (vs. 9-10). Anyways. It’s so wonderful knowing that you’re in good hands. Each one of us is precious to His sight. :) I just pray that I can strive to make Him just as happy as He’s made me. Nahmean?
